Hmm.
So the Twitter person would like some friends to shop/ have nails done/ chat about important stuff with?
What's so strange about that? Personally I like to go on walks or to gardens with my friends, and we talk about hopes amongst many other topics. If big stuff is happening in one of our lives we discuss it.Having my nails done ranks up there with going to the dentist, but if Twitter person enjoys it,why not? I can still remember a toddler group where my telling them I was meeting a friend,we were going to play computer games and talk about books was met by amazement that we'd prefer that over shopping Smile

And as a small young looking person in a professional job I have deliberately deepened my voice - it may not have made clients perceive me as more competent and take me more seriously, how would I tell - but it makes me feel more on top of things if I've started to get stressed.
