Well that's according to pink news who seem to have their own hotline to the Women and Equalities Committee.

"Minister for Women and Equalities Penny Mordaunt said that the LGBT Policy Team would publish its response to the GRA “shortly,” alongside findings on a Call for Evidence on issues faced by people with variations in sex characteristics.

It will also report on its research into the number of young trans people in the UK, and on how it will end conversion therapy."

I've tried searching to .gov.uk site but cant find any statement about this.

Although lost at the end of the LGBT Action Plan Annual Report is this comment:

"We will publish our response to the findings of the Gender Recognition Act consultation. The Government Equalities Office is analysing the results and intends to respond to the consultation this year. We will also publish the findings of the variations in sex characteristics and non-binary Calls for Evidence this year."

Which of course just confirms that women's issues are just subsumed within everyone else's.

Maybe someone else can find some more overt statement.

I suspect that will get the same analysists as the Corporation of London and anyone who queried the misuse of the word gender for sex will have all their responses binned. Angry

does anyone know whether either of our glorious candidates for PM has ever commented on their opinion of what women are?

I'm not convinced either of those two specimens could locate their own arseholes tbh, so I wouldn't hold out hope on their ability to ponder the finer points of sex and gender. Boris seems pretty clear on who a woman is when he's deciding who to philander with or scream abuse at. And I seem to remember Hunt being pretty clear on human sexual dimorphism when he was championing a contract for junior doctors that was full of overt maternity discrimination. That was around the time the Fail ran all those super articles on how Wimmin shouldn't be doctors because they're destroying the NHS with their baby having ways. So I'm pretty sure they both a) know what a woman is and b) hate them enough to give away their rights as soon as blink.

I am probably not the only person wondering what "doing a proper job on it" means

I imagine it means "doing an Edward Lord".
