Son's graduation ceremony, in a few days' time.

I'll be wearing green, purple and white, the suffragette colours. Hope this might signal solidarity to women academics, and all other women who are having a hard time, at the moment.

Glad you like my suggestion.

I think the use of the three colours in different combinations could give individuals the ability to be as brave as they want in displaying their rejection of the TRA. Some may choose the "subtle suffragette" look wearing a crisp white shirt and accessories in green or white. The braver could do the full monty with hat pins and sashes.

Will you come across that many academics though, or anyone much except those graduating and their parents? I'm not trying to rain on your parade but that's how I remember my graduation.

Academics definitely attend graduation and the drinks afterwards. I go every year. Thank you, OP, it means a lot.

University open days could also be a good time to show GC views as this is a time when Universities are trying to attract future students.
