It seeks to cover online abuse, grooming, revenge pornography, CSE, terrorism etc. One of the key areas IMO is
We are consulting on definitions of private communications, and what measures should apply to these services. Seemed to me some of the good women on here might have a view on that.

There is also a section on empowering users towards the end. I skipped some techie questions to get there. The White Paper helpfully has the consultation questions at the end of each section (the consultation survey gives no context or examples).

Bump as this is important

OhHolyJesus · 27/06/2019 07:15

Thanks for bumping, I have this on my list to do. I started it before and got a bit stuck as I was thinking about circumcision and FGM and what a hate crime was/is (before Fair Cop was launched).

Will go back to it today.

Bump!

I'm not in UK so this isn't for me but I'm curious if 'grooming' can also include adults in sites like Tumblr, Reddit, YouTube, Twitter etc encouraging kids to believe they're "eggs" and need to trans asap or else you know what.... And coaching kids on how to access binders, silicon penises, GnRh agonists (blockers) and cross hormones on the 'net, how to pay with parent/s' credit card, how to hide this from parents, and what to say, the stories to tell parents, school, doctors and therapists, to get the drugs and referrals they want?
