P!nk - she's great

Saw her last night in concert. She's bloody fantastic. Her performance was brilliant - incredibly athletic and physically powerful. Her voice was great, her songs are immense. She was generous in her acknowledgement of other people's work. Her dancers were dressed in appropriate costumes at least from what I could see in a screen, being a short arse stood at the back. At one point she had to adjust her costume and just smiled ruefully and got on with it. She seems to understand the crap that gender stereotypes inflict on women and men. Totally love her.

Isn't she raising her kid non-sexed?

I was reading a bit about her on the way home last night and there were some click baitey headlines like that but when I read more it seems she's trying to raise them while limiting the impact of gender expectations on them. Sounds sensible to me.

Although I can't stand the references to gender 'play'; choke 'play' etc that seem so common these days.

I like Pink too. She's a kick ass woman, who is always herself in her performances. She's living in U.S and in trendy left/liberal celeb culture though, where having a 'trans' child is fashionable.

Oh I bloody love her. Nothing useful to add to the thread just wanted to share my appreciation!

Loved her in the movie Thanks For Sharing.
(About addiction, especially sex).

Oh yes, I saw she was well reviewed in that. Must try to find it to watch.

I like that she and her husband have been open about their marriage counselling too. It's unusual to hear of real life impinging on celebs.
