This article has been annoying me all morning.
- The ridiculous theories about why there's this (supposed - see below) increase in abortion which are not in the slightest bit based on fact.
- We don't know if abortion figures are really going up because what's more important to assess this is the ratio of abortions to full term births over a specific time period for the same demographic.
- If abortions ARE going up for any reason, it's as likely to be result of more women realising they have the choice over whether or not to carry a baby to term.
Alongside all the actual fact/fact checking issues with this article, the tone is horrendous. Very much suggesting that abortion is bad so the government's policies are bad because they cause abortion. It's so annoying.
