I should point out that the perpetrator here is not trans; this has more to do with the lengths some men will go to to attack women. While there are men who behave like this, how can it be safe to allow self-identified ‘women’ into female spaces?

The original post is about a pub near me. It is very traditional and the car park is shared with parents dropping their daughters off to rainbows, brownies and guides.

This is why single sex toilets must be maintained.

In the Livingston one, he'd followed a woman into the women's toilets in January. Then spied on her. Staff were informed and police called.

Then he followed a 7 year old into the women's toilets and sexually assaulted her a month later in the same restaurant.

So the staff didn't challenge him before he attacked the girl, even though police had been called previously.

This is what happens when you normalise men hanging around women's toilets.

To be clear, I am not blaming the staff (who were probably different people on shift to the previous incident), but we are rapidly creating a culture where strange men hanging around women's toilets makes people too scared to intervene in case they get accused of a hate crime against the man. Even if the man had been accused of voyeurism previously in another incident at your own premises.

Horrendous we had similar cases here. One was a young girl 6 or 7 raped in the toilets of a dance studio she was attending. The toilets were not in the studio but the building it was located in. Once realising she had not returned to class a search was undertaken and two men came across her and broke into the toilet cubicle to rescue her one of whom was stabbed in the process. He survived thankfully, one was (not sure if the one that was stabbed) an ex pro boxer. How he restrained himself enough for the offender to remain alive I’ll never know.

Matter is now in court and of course the offender was on parole for several sexual assaults. The justice system in my country is fubar 😡.

Upz I doubt you'd have crossed the road to avoid a mum and toddlers of that ethnic group, or an elderly couple, or a teenaged girl, you were using your pattern recognition skills to keep yourself safe. Trauma 101.

Women having basic pattern recognition skills isn't a hate crime against men.
