TRA reporter Peter Bright arrested by FBI

Got this from Andy Ngos timeline. Peter Bright goes by the account @Dr pizza or similar. He's been arrested for online child molestation in an FBI sting. He was blocked by Glinner after the usual nonsense. www.dailydot.com/layer8/peter-bright-charged-soliciting-sex-minors/?amp&__twitter_impression=true

Oh yes, the Teen Vogue "how to enjoy anal sex" article.

nauticant · 08/06/2019 21:59

Trivial searching on twitter will find stuff like this:

twitter.com/search?q=drpizza%20jailbait&src=typed_query&f=live (scroll down to the end)

It seems that Bright liked to include pointers to what he was up to. Looking at this in hindsight, he put loads of clues out there.

FermatsTheorem · 08/06/2019 22:01

Yes, that article - the one which handily divided the human race into prostate havers and non-prostate havers.

I always think back to that BMJ longitudinal study on anal sex in young people.

The study found that only a minority of women find anal sex enjoyable. The rest are either meh about it, or find it actively painful and unpleasant.

The study also found that young men approach anal sex in the knowledge that (1) women probably don't want it and (2) they will have to nag/coerce in order to get it and (3) the woman may well find it painful (in fact the young men expect the woman to find it painful - but they still think it is their right to try to get women to acquiesce to anal sex.

So what does Teen Vogue - a magazine aimed at young women - do? Become complicit in what can only be described as a society wide, porn-fuelled attempt to groom young women into shutting up and putting up with anal sex.

One can only hope the FBI find evidence of others of like mind and take appropriate action. This man had 18000 followers

I bet less people now think my "the top positions are being infiltrated by peadophiles" theory is less tin foil hat bonkers these day....

glitterfarts · 08/06/2019 22:53

off topic - Can someone please explain what pizza has to do with being a paedophile? As people are saying Dr Pizza is a giveaway. I don't get it.

Amalfimamma · 08/06/2019 23:03

glitterfarts

It comes from the leaked John Podestà emails where he seems to use the word pizza as a code for pedophilia and young girls

ThePurportedDoctoress · 08/06/2019 23:03

I think it's an 'ironic' reference to the Pizzagate conspiracy theory.

Did his employers not mind when he was tweeting about 'jailbait'? The tech world is looking seedier by the day.

glitterfarts · 08/06/2019 23:08

Thanks Amalfimamma

AlwaysComingHome · 08/06/2019 23:13

Apologies.....didn't notice the auto correct for that. It should read anal sex

Not as bad as if it had ‘corrected it’ the other way round. Imagine if you’d handed in an analysis report at work with ‘anal sex’ in the header...

GirlDownUnder · 08/06/2019 23:55

I thought the pizza ref might be pizza pie (Americanism) and we know what PIE is.

RoyalCorgi · 09/06/2019 08:41

This is exactly what we've been warning about. We've been saying all along that the movement to allow men into female' spaces is being driven by sexual abusers and people who want to harm women and girls. And all we've had in response is a load of abuse, threats of violence, and "blocking".

It would be nice to see some people now admitting they were wrong. Not holding my breath.

sackrifice · 09/06/2019 08:51

And all we've had in response is a load of abuse, threats of violence, and "blocking".

Women were banned from here for stating the same.

Thread about how central the defence of paedophilia is within queer theory, going all the way back to Foucault.

correction

It comes from an alt-right Trump supporting conspiracy, widely reported as being promoted by Russian bots, in which Hilary Clinton was misrepresented as a blood drinking, baby eating Satanist paedophile.

Pizzagate is a very clear example of how insane conspiracy theories about satanic ritual abuse can undermine democracy and fuel far-right political movements.

It is also an example of how conspiracy theories about SRA are used to oppress women and women's reproductive rights, one of the narrative being that Hilary Clinton is pro abortion thus she hate babies and is a satanic murderer of babies

Re Pizzagate

I am unfamiliar with the author of this piece, and in these interesting times one cannot be too careful, thus the archived link to what appears to be a very good article on Pizzagate, Qanon etc.

<a class="break-all" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20190609094813/www.terence-hawkins.com/news/2018/6/1/roseanne-trump-and-pizzagate-the-heart-of-darkness-ylbrn" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">web.archive.org/web/20190609094813/www.terence-hawkins.com/news/2018/6/1/roseanne-trump-and-pizzagate-the-heart-of-darkness-ylbrn

FermatsTheorem · 09/06/2019 11:38

The point about Pizzagate is not whether it was common knowledge over here (I only knew about it from following the Trump threads on here and maybe one article in the Guardian) but whether it was common knowledge in the circles Bright moved in.

The answer to that is "almost certainly, 100% yes." So in choosing that name, Bright is in effect thumbing his nose at everyone, doing the narcissist move of openly advertising their own wrong-doing while giggling to themselves at the thought that no-one will realise that's what they're doing.

It's a kind of double bluff: "My mates know Pizzagate was a crazy alt-right conspiracy theory, so when I call myself Dr Pizza they think I'm just making ironic fun of the alt-right and their crazy willingness to believe any old shit, while actually I'm making ironic fun of my lefty dude bro woke mates, because actually I am the very Dr Pizza the alt right are talking about - the only difference is that I, from the top of my ivory tower, know (because I've read Foucault) that I'm not actually doing anything wrong..."

ixqik · 09/06/2019 13:22

Breaking Federal Laws always carry a significantly longer prison sentence than breaking state law. Because it involved misuse of communication he broke Federal law. Hope he rots in goal. PS after serving his sentence he will be deported back to the UK.
