Comments are good, he’s having his arse handed to him on a plate

I suspect Floral was right about this being a bat signal to the Tory leadership contenders who will all subscribe to The Times.

He knows perfectly well the readership are not in his corner. If it really was meant as an opinion piece for the masses he'd put in the Guardian where the readers are more receptive and unhindered by a paywall.

Oooh! I did enjoy the comments section. Very clear about the law as it actually is!

Who was the penis news "journalist" who self identified into his step mum's ethnicity in order to claim a conference place?? Was it BC? I didn't imagine this did i?

AlwaysComingHome · 07/06/2019 15:40

I’m still laughing at the words ‘Teresa May’ and ‘great legacy’ appearing in the same sentence.

Michelleoftheresistance · 07/06/2019 16:42

I did enjoy the comments.

The article as pernicious rubbish, but the comments were wonderful, as they always seem to be on such articles.

In fairness, she would have a better legacy with a lot more men as "that Teresa May who ended all that women's rights nonsense" than "that Teresa May who messed up Brexit".

But if the Times think anything less than full capitulation and grovelling will do, then they have a hell of a shock coming.
