Tara Hewitt has a senior role in NHS as well as influencing Social Care, Universities etc.
And something that the NHS seems unaware of is this:
Equality Act 2010, Schedule 3, section 27 [single sex services]
ss5: The condition is that the service is provided at a place which is, or is part of—
(a) a hospital, or
(b) another establishment for persons requiring special care, supervision or attention.
That is, that all hospitals and other NHS premises / services are 100% exempted from sex discrimination claims in their provision of single sex services.
For the record, 5b above includes prisons as establishments for persons requiring special care, supervision or attention.
[Ditto for refuges rape crisis support centres etc.]
