It's not going to be the easiest story for a journo to accurately piece together. It broke late last night and most or all of the rubber guy's account and videos were wiped.

Yes there is still the screenshots but they are harder to independently verify and some confusion has arisen over the title of the work bathroom one due to the whistleblowing twitter user adding their own words.

It's clear to anyone following the story as it unfolded what is going on but probably harder for the MSM to make a legally watertight story with the NSPCC unwillingly to address it, people like OJ yelling homophobia and the evidence trail being deleted.

It takes all forms.

Resistance & attempts to prevent scrutiny should always be seen as a direction, "look here now!"

DuMondeB given the phrasing of the NSPCCs remit with the charities commission and morality, and the current 'cultural war', it absolutely IS a public interest story even if there are no criminal issues here. There is a massive debate here.

Safeguarding is about preventation not sorting out a mess after the fact after all.

The dangers & mechanism of online grooming & why Safeguarding matters:

"Kayleigh’s Love Story is a film about aspects of the last 13 days of the life of 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood.

The Leicestershire schoolgirl was groomed online by Luke Harlow, a man she had never met, before being raped and murdered by his next door neighbour Stephen Beadman."

Then why is anyone saying there's no proof and the papers can't print it? It seems like there is loads of proof!

I would hope that a proper journalist, ie not someone like Owen Jones, is collating all of those tweets, checking the veracity of them, approaching parties for comments, running it past lawyers etc, and aiming to publish in the next few days. It’s only really a day or two old and good journalism requires a bit of work. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be too much of it these days. I’m hoping James Kirkup or Lucy Bannerman might be working on it.

Let's address the elephant in the room shall we? It's been quite an interesting week..

First up is "Dr Pizza" the blue tick IT writer caught in an FBI sting wanting to meet up for sex with a 7 and 9 year old. Let me repeat that, a 7 and 9 year old. Of course he's peers responding "I'm shocked". Really? Fucking really? That guys twitter feed was filled with comments like "checking out the jailbait" that's one of the milder ones. He was also a huge advocate for the lowering of the age of consent. Hmm, why would that be? The transcript of his discussion with the undercover agent is nothing less than nauseating.

Then of course the NSPCC hires Munroe, without seeming to perform their due diligence. Even to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were unaware of the tweets encouraging children to dm Munroe, surely the well publicised drama with both L'Oréal and Labor would give them reason to do even the minimum of research surely?

So now onto "Rubberman". I have so much to say about this... but first please bear with me, I will give a little of my, somewhat limited, background experience.

During my late teens to early 20's I worked at a community centre in an area that would be described in the UK as a council estate. Initially I began as a volunteer to keep me occupied during a period of unemployment. The centre was offered funding for administrative staff and they offered the position to me. One of my responsibilities was to attend weekly staff meetings and take minutes, or in the event that someone couldn't attend give their report in their absence. Now one of the staff was CSA Counsellor. Her weekly reports were heartbreaking to hear. I would of course be professional during the meetings of course, only to go home and scream and sob into my pillow for those poor, poor children. Their stories haunted me. I was in a committed relationship at the time and apologies if I'm over sharing here, but sometimes the thought of sexual intimacy repulsed me, not always but sometimes just an act or a movement.

So in sharing that I have to ask - Surely such a large organisation has meetings? Surely as someone responsible for the celebrities and PR side "Rubberman would be required to attend at least some of those meetings? Even when not in direct contact with the children how can the stories not horrify? How can anyone remotely think wanking in the workplace is acceptable? How can people defend this?

I think we know the answers. It's in plain sight. Mothers know. Women know. These people have been trying for decades and they will continue to. They are in our governments, our churches, our schools. Stop turning a blind eye. Ask yourself do you want the uncomfortable truth or the comforting lie?

At this stage, imho, people defending this fall into two categories:

  1. Wilfully ignorant
  2. Complicit
That may offend some, but guess what, #sorrynotsorry, I'm putting the kids first.

The papers will have to prove it’s in the public interest to publish the story.
There are no criminal charges, nor has he been fired (which is usually the justification for printing stories about non-famous people), so the NSPCC can attempt to block publication on behalf of their employee.

Of course, it could be that journos are all wanking in their own work toilets and this is a non-story in their eyes, but I hope it’s a legal discussion that is holding it up (as happened with Jess Bradley).

Watch for those who are calling for 'rage & riot'

Report
ByGrabtharsHammarWhatASaving · 13/06/2019 12:11

I actually think this story is too toxic for even the rags to touch. I think it'll just drop from sight. The NSPCC won't say a word on it, the MSM wouldn't touch it with a barge pole (not even The Times I don't think), there'll be a bit of noise from Twatter about how it's all fake news, and then any one who tries to bring it up again will get smeared/ harassed. There'll be a quiet word with Cub about leaving a less obvious trail of breadcrumbs next time but no formal disciplinary in case it further harms their "relationship with the LGBT community" (which I put in quotes because by "LGBT community" I mean the angry fetish hungry mob who claim to speak for them). The NSPCC have two choices now - they can either admit to two massive safeguarding breaches (and suffer two public backlashes of "-phobia") in one week, or they can double down and smear the whistle blowers. In the current climate I'm almost certain they'll chose the latter. Either way this whole episode has acted as a calling card for dangerous men to flock to the NSPCC. We haven't heard the last of stuff like this, that's for sure.

Telegraph 11th June 2019

"Oxfam abuse victims were sent back to war zones after raising complaints against aid workers, it was claimed in an official report exposing the scale of the scandal that engulfed the charity.

The report, by the Charity Commission, accuses Oxfam of underplaying the scale of allegations made by victims in Haiti and the UK in an attempt to protect the charity’s reputation and keep donations coming in.

It found that the charity failed to respond adequately to allegations that aid workers in Haiti were sexually abusing women whom they were supposed to be helping.

It also found that 16 child volunteers in UK high street stores had complained of being victims of abuse. However the report found that Oxfam “tolerated poor behaviour”.

The Charity Commission, which has been investigating Oxfam since last year, concluded that the charity’s approach to the allegations was marked “by a desire to protect its reputation and donor relationships”. (continues)

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/06/11/oxfam-risked-safety-children-protect-reputation-charity-commission/

These are key features of systemic Safeguarding failure:

  1. Poor treatment, silencing, intimidation or dismissal of whistleblowers & their concerns.

  2. Prioritisation concern for reputation & donors over the needs of those in receipt of the service.

  3. Toleration of bad/poor behaviour within the organisation amongst staff, especially those with power. Co-workers impacted often unable to raise issues due to prevailing culture of acceptance.

  4. Serious abuse of those service users with least power or agency (children & vulnerable adults) due to exploitation of loopholes & Safeguarding failures

Victorian feminism was pretty damn impressive - look at Josephine Butler and what her campaign against the Contagious Diseases Act achieved. Look at Annie Besant and the Match Girls Strike. Look at Millicent Fawcett and her campaign for women to have the vote.

Brilliant, fearless women who achieved huge social change. Give me those women any day rather than some pathetic handmaiden liberal feminist who defends men's rights to wank in the toilet and put the film on the internet.

I just put NSPCC into Twitter's search box (I don't have an account) and the top 10 tweets are all about transphobia, including from Jameela Jamil, the skin-crawlingly awful mimmymum, the BBC LGBT correspondent who screwed up this story, and Owen Jones. And the NSPCC's own apology tweet which would seem to bear out the "transphobia" angle at first glance.

Only when you get to tweet #11 on that search do you get someone talking about the guy wanking into his rubber suit and filming it in NSPCC offices.

I hope to fuck this story gets some press because god knows Twitter isn't going to get the word out.
