Does anyone want to help me I'm not sure where to start when I googled their equality policy it had sex as a protected characteristic bit looking on their website they have one saying Gender, digging deeper their equality objectives include analysis of race, gender and disabilities.
I've emailed the school about the incorrect wording not sure what else to do.

Head to transgender trend for info and resources. Lots of threads on here about parents debating gender ideology in schools so get your ducks in a row and so your ready for their reply.

The GCSE biology exam thread is a very recent one where kids will lose out as a result of conflating sex and gender.

Good luck and keep us posted.

There is nothing to stop them having gender or gender identity in their anti bullying or inclusion policy, but they cant rewrite the law. It has to be as well as the named protected characteristics, and it cant override any of them.
