Laura Perrins on LBC

New poster here, been reading these threads for a while now.
I caught the end of a debate on LBC this morning between Laura Perrins and someone from or connected to Stonewall (apologies I didn't get his name). My immediate thought was to turn here for to see if anyone else heard it as I can't believe I heard the end of the conversation correctly. Trying to find it now on the LBC website but I'm sure the man she was debating with said he agreed with her the people cannot change biological sex.
Did anyone else catch it?

I heard it, yes he did agree with her on that, and seemed to imply there was an issue around that

Sorry for the typos. What a rubbish job at proof reading.

That's what I thought too. It was a shame that's where the conversation ended.

I find myself agreeing with Laura Perrins about something. What a time to be alive!

NorthernNic · 31/05/2019 09:51

Indeed.

I think she was talking to Simon fanshaw who is hot on gay rights but disturbed by the Trans rhetoric. I think he was a founder of stonewalluk but doesn't agree with their trans stance. Many apologies if it turns out I've got the wrong man or his opinions wrong.

Unfortunately I can't find the clip on the LBC website but thank you all for replying.

Yes it was Simon Fanshaw. This is an article about his position, unfortunately I don't have access to the whole thing.

Simon Fanshaw is brilliant, and a real feminist ally. Laura Perrins, er, isn't. She's an anti-feminist and anti-working mother campaigner, but just dislikes trans people more than women.

Thanks for the link, I feel like I've still got a lot of catching up to do. This forum is an excellent source of information, so many intelligent and articulate posters, I'm bloody glad I found it!
