I’m sure many of you have seen this story

It came up on my Facebook, shared by a friend and most comments were along the “girls, make sure you don’t walk alone in strange places” rhetoric

It makes me so angry.
When is this going to stop

I’ve searched to see if there is any crowd fund to help with her medical expenses and further investigation/legal action but nothing so far

She is obviously a strong lady and hopefully she will continue to scream from the roof tops and I applaud her. Will voice my support and disgust where ever I can.
The hotel, the DR government and the US government need to stand up and take action

That is a quote from her, sadly. It sounds like a horrendous ordeal and I can't believe the hotel have taken it so casually.

And obviously my anger is not about that remark. It’s about the whole horrible situation. How can the response again be so poor. Why are these barbaric situations white washed over and over again. It needs to never be ignored when these attacks happen.
