Man caught filming in unisex bathrooms - Bath. This has happened a few times I’m Bath now.

Can someone please link to the article or tell me how to (sorry!).

I thought we could add to this thread whenever something that “never happens...” inevitably happens.

So please feel free to add anything you come across

Is that really a photo of the changing rooms at Bath sports centre or is it a generic pic? If the former, there's only one word in my mind - curtains! Why would anyone have curtains in a mixed sex environment with nudity behind those curtains beats me.

Where have the news reports gone?!

In January and February 2019, there were MN topics about the mixed sex changing facilities at the newly opened Bath leisure centre. Mumsnetter VixFinn was interviewed on local radio and on the Jeremy Vine show.

The Council and Leisure Centre Operator treated warnings about the risks with contempt. It could never happen and there had been no complaints, they said. In fact there were two complaints that week - one about two men strolling around naked and the other about men urinating in cubicles while leaving the door open.

Not forgetting the website that keeps a record of all crimes committed by men who purport to be women, trans, transwomen or transgender.

You can look at various categories (rape, violence, voyeurism, extreme porn etc) or by tags like 'children', 'repeat offender' etc

That Somersetive news link seems to have gone, but this is the BBC story from back in January, which clearly showed Bath and East Somerset Coucil and GLL in total denial.

"Centre staff have not received any reports of any such behaviour," the company added.
A Bath and North East Somerset Council spokesman said there was "no evidence" for the claims."

This is an interesting article, and the comments and poll are probably very representative of what the majority of people think about gender neutral changing facilities.
91% against and only 9% in favour out of 740 respondents.
Nobody really wants this, it is happening because of a very vocal majority pushing their agenda.

Lots of branches of TopShop still have those curtains don’t they ? Full of teenage girls ( and TopShopTravis) .
Even with a full door, if men are allowed to use them then it is easy for one to stick up a small camera.

(Sorry not sure how to post links, only screenshots). I think the assaulter in this case is classed as a cross-dressing man, not a transwoman. But how can someone tell, particularly an older vulnerable woman as in this case?

It doesn't matter to the poor woman what he calls himself. That is so horrific. Hope she is receiving proper care now.

I know, sorry, I didn’t phrase it very well - it hardly matters exactly where under the “trans umbrella” this person existed. It sounds like a series of abusive acts, not a one-off, poor lady. Hopefully she has a nice cheerful female carer now and is feeling safe again.

The 'private act' could have been simply drying themselves with a towel or getting changed into workout / street clothes.

Surely female only spaces will have to be saved. It’s never female people doing the filming, yet we (or children) are often targeted.

Not sure that's what TRAs want and, as the many reports being collated show, is not what is happening. I have no idea how many women and girls injured, scared, killed it will take to make The Woke to see it, if they ever will!
