Saw this on Ray Blanchard's Twitter account In California you can fill in a form to change the gender (sex)!on a child's birthday certificate. There is no minimum age so presumably it could be from birth. In which case a parents can decide a child's legal sex irrespective of reality

Imagine the problems that child would have later in life if passport based on birth cert, and they want to travel abroad. Passport control faced with someone who obviously does not match the sex on their passport.

The possibility of adding your child to the list of undesirables in the future springs to mind.
