Sussex Police Officer batter after ignoring girl later murdered

I hadn’t heard of this before now. Sussex police Officer has been barred from the force for life after ignoring Shana Grice after she made 5 reports in six months about her stalker ex who is now serving 25 years for her murder. She was fined for wasting police time! At one point she told them he had stolen keys to her home. Her Ex, Michael Lane murdered her in August 2016. The force have refused to name the officer.

If she was fined this is more than just the failure of one officer.

Yes, I saw this last week. One of the PCs resigned before the misconduct hearing – that one has been named as PC Mills.

Michelle Savage complained to police three times that she feared her life was in danger from her former husband Craig Savage. He eventually shot her and her mother dead in 2018 at their home in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex.
