Dr struck off for social media use

Thought this was interesting. Psychiatrist recently suspended by GMC for his social media use (abusive and targeted tweets, mainly at other professionals). Also a junior doc in Australia suspended by Australian licensing body for abusive tweets. Haddock had better be careful!

The psychiatrist’s tweets must have been unbelievably offensive. I know of another doctor whose tweets are some of the most misogynistic I have ever seen, yet they haven’t been struck off yet.

I looked at those tweets and they seemed to suggest a dr had been suspended but was more to do with whistleblowing? Not really all that clear cut (though the second was more clear - but I think he was just suspended too)

Is this man really a qualified psychiatrist? Or just another self identified one?
