I watched one of the new seasons episode yesterday and it has had a profound effect on me.

The whole episode dealt with rape and the impact of this on the woman. This highlighted the trauma that encountering men following a sexual assault can have and I want everyone to watch and then read what TRAs are advocating for.

GA is usually incredibly woke and I was half expecting something trans related to come up but it didn't - perhaps GA has peak transed?

GA covered non binary the week before I think, very briefly and Webber was the old fashioned guy who couldn't say 'their'.

Yes you're right they did. I thought this episode was really well done though and solely focused on women.

I found it a very tough watch and I want more people to watch and then read about Morgane Oger. Watch them peak trans before your eyes.

GA is completely woke. They have a trans character which was actually done well, and they did a big thing on making more realistic vaginas for trans women with women born without one or who lose/damage theirs as a one line concern. Last weeks episode where they had the oldest member of the cast/hospital was highlighting ‘how out of touch’ the people who ‘struggle’ to understand/believe it are.

In the past I’ve found they were really good with the empowerment of women and BAME and to some degree they still are. But they are also woke af.

Oh yea I forgot about the trans dr. Ex army right?

The trans patient storyline did seem quite focused on the relationship with her mother and the way I saw it was the patient needed to stop navel gazing and get their head out of their non binary arse and be there for their ill mother. They did make Webber look like an idiot though with Jackson and the Intern all woke. I was glad it wasn't the main storyline.

The rape episode was very powerful and the scenes of the rape kit being done had me in tears.
