I've had an email from the NEU about the new RSE curriculum.
There is a survey and some of the questions were very interesting.
If you are a teacher and in the NEU please try to fill the survey in. Deadline 17th May.
Tell the DfE what you need to deliver relationships and sex education
From 2020 all schools will have to teach relationships and sex education (RSE). We think RSE is vital to ensure children can stay safe and develop healthy, equal and enjoyable relationships. We need RSE to be inclusivee_ for all children and young people.
But we need to ensure that schools have the right support. We do not think the Government is doing enough.
The National Education Union (NEU) is working with the NSPCC to hear your viewss_ on what schools need to deliver high-quality, inclusive and age-appropriate RSE.
Help us to tell the DfE what it needs to do to support schools and ensure educators feel confident and equipped to deliver these reforms.
Please fill in the surveyy by Friday 17 Mayy to make sure your voice is heard.
