gender critical young person

New thread because MNHQ won't move my thread back to here (fair enough, it's up to them).

So I started an AMA thread yesterday about being a gender critical young person. Loads of great questions were asked, and it felt pretty good to finally be able to speak about this subject with people who understand where I'm coming from.

Anyway, this isn't an AMA because I want this thread to stay in the Feminism Chat section (although feel free to ask questions). I guess I just wanted to say hi and get more involved with the topic.

Also, it'd be great if people could point me towards any specific threads with statistics on things like sport/trans kids/bathrooms/violence, because there are some people I speak to irl who are on the fence about these issues, and if I can provide them with numbers and figures I think that might help people understand why it's important.

So yeah, that's all. I'll probably keep this thread running and just note anything interesting that happens in real life related to the subject.

Fair Play for Women have lots of information on the things you mention.

You could start here: fairplayforwomen.com/library/

This thread is very good for links and resources:

Hi! That's good. Why not join in on some of the existing threads? Things go along the lines of IRL conversations around here, rather than person-by-person threads.

Welcome back OP.

The break it down for me thread is a really good place to get resources. Here's another. You'll find lots in this board, hope it's useful.

Hi I'm glad to see you back.

A Womans Place have lots of fair and reasonable points both on their site and several public meetings on their youtube channel. FPFW and TT already mentioned, the latter being about young people and schools. Also some wise transsexuals (yes, some transwomen are against the recent activism tactics) like Debbie Hayton and Kristina Harrison have made excellent and considerate points.

Here's a handy checklist that transfers into the transgender issue very readily:

A much longer read and something that is well worth the time:

I'd wondered where your thread had gone ThoughtCriminal but nice to see you back in here.

Please do comment and give input on relevant threads here, it will be good to hear a YPs viewpoint.
