Not sure if the link below will work, but this, from an Australian paediatrician is a really chilling read. Lots of excellent, hard data and an explanation of medical options and stages. Worrying analysis of the implications of Canadian and US legislation.

The punctuation makes the first paragraph a clunky read, but it is worth working through.

Excellent it worrying

But!

I've been skim reading this as it's quite long and needs a more concentrated read.
I did notice a mention of the lack of studies relating to the parents and the possibility of Munchhausen's by Proxy was raised. I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere else and yet it seems highly likely that this is a factor in some cases.

This is very scary read. The kids that are being experimented on now. Where will they be in 20 years.

And what agenda is pushing this and why

And the doctors and surgeons involved in this how can they do this

Girls of 13 having their breasts cut off

The very same girls who are not allowed to smoke or drink or drive a car

It’s a fucking disgrace the whole of this movement

Bumping

HorsewithnoPhD · 26/04/2019 11:25

The very same girls who are not allowed to smoke or drink or drive a car..

That really puts this awful business into perspective.

It's illegal for a tattoo, presumably as an under 18 is too young to be able to decide.

More up to date article:

Thank you Notbad. Another really thought provoking piece. They could both do with a good editor, but they complement each other well - more depth on possible effects of blockers in the more recent article, and more disturbing detail of what surgery entails in the earlier one.

I can't help but compare the total lack of outrage / research into all of this with the vaccine debate. How unchallengeable the trans issue has become that parents could be seen as abusers for not allowing their children to embark on a path towards lifelong dependence on essentially unresearched drugs.

Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria being debunked on a discussion I am involved in. I was provided with this article as evidence. Written by a transwoman! Anyone got any links to counter this? ROGD is debunked because the paper by Littman relied on surveys with parents who had been 'brainwashed' by anti trans groups, according to the link I was offered as evidence it does not exist.
