I noticed lots of banners referring to ‘mother earth’ (and ‘she’) as the environment protests this weekend. Oh dearie me.

It sounds like a joke skit where a Millie Tant makes a big show of referring to God as She/Her.

Also noticed that they say that as a charity with limited funds, the changes will be phased - so waiting until a sign needs replacing before changing the words.

Surely this will if anything encourage further vandalism?
Because the vandal that is so passionate about not misgendering boats will get what they want more quickly if they vandalise more signs!

And agree that this will undoubtedly be blamed on "feminism gone too far!"

If they were that upset maybe they should cobble together the money and pay for new signage? Because no one else gives a monkeys.
