There's a short video on Sky news app "trans athletes could kill women's sport"

Don't know how to link. I know Paula has spoken before but she's not shutting up about it!

Good luck (not) to anyone trying to shut down Paula Radcliffe.

I have such great admiration for these fantastic sports women speaking up for future generations. WWineFlowers for them all!

tobee · 18/04/2019 21:40

Cross post.

She pretty much nails all the issues and Sky have seemingly edited it well to 1 and a half minutes.

They put McKinnon on after her. Said "testosterone makes no difference to performance in sport" interviewer too busy minding his Ps and Qs to challenge that.

TeaForDad · 18/04/2019 21:51

It's notable that the people speaking out most are both women, and established / at the end of their career.
Good on them.

tobee · 18/04/2019 21:57

"testosterone makes no difference to performance in sport".

Yeah all science is bollocks isn't it? Angry

Sportswomen are becoming a beacon of truth in this awful environment. More power to all of them.

Voice0fReason · 18/04/2019 22:13

testosterone makes no difference to performance in sport
Which is why there are no rules against taking testosterone supplements of course!

AlwaysComingHome · 18/04/2019 22:28

testosterone makes no difference to performance in sport

So why weren’t you a champion male athlete before changing your pronouns?

terfsandwich · 18/04/2019 22:45

So why did the Eastern Bloc feed it to women? Does it only make a difference to women's bodies?
Oh hang on, that's transphobic! There is no such thing as men's and womens bodies!

VortexofBloggery · 18/04/2019 23:09

McKinnon sounded like a flat earther trying to rubbish the laws of gravity. Paula said it best "selfish".

DaiStation · 18/04/2019 23:13

For some reason I had not even considered how much periods have an effect on women's sport. Thanks Paula for adding that to my argument!

GirlDownUnder · 19/04/2019 05:26

I thought Rachel 'Peak Sherpa Machine' McKinnon did their job well today. Did not sound convincing and said nothing new.

Paula Radcliffe is amazing (smile)

KatvonHostileExtremist · 19/04/2019 07:24

Well done Paula

Thank you Paula

I love watching women's sport and cannot fathom how anyone thinks it's right to let the male bodied compete against natal women and girls.Thank you for standing up for women. X

pepperpot99 · 20/04/2019 08:59

Yet another example of jealous men who hate successful women and want to steal their achievements. Pathetic, envious losers.

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 20/04/2019 09:04

Hurray for Paula! Flowers Star
