Why can't they just call themselves bisexual?
Been seeing it from all angles across social media and I've learned it is not rare in real life
From arguing about what the definition of female is
to conflating identity with orientation.

In “post queer theory” world, attraction is based on gender, not sex. If a trans woman identifies as lesbian (attracted to women), their female partners would need to be lesbians.

If their partners identified as straight or bisexual, it might invalidate the trans woman’s identity as a woman.

This is why lesbian magazines now have articles on how to suck dick, but say “treating the penis as a clitoris.. do x, y, z.”

Haven't read any lesbian magazines for years. Wtf. The cult has truly taken everything. I feel really sad for young lesbians now. At least we only had to deal with men , not this lot. On a more cheering note I am now a member of new lesbian network formed out of being deemed unsuitable for a women group. Already getting great conversations and support...we will be ready for action before long I hope.

Yes if it was aimed at bisexual or “queer” women that would be one thing.

But this was in a lesbian-specific magazine and basically a lift out from Cosmo on.. penis-pleasing. Ridiculous.

In the news: Investigation of alleged hate crime in Colorado Springs. The victim is a transman. The attackers perceived her as a dyke. This is a homophobic, anti-lesbian crime, not a transphobic one, imo.

I was delighted today to see two lesbian couples (one handholding in the queue), then a small group of lesbians, at a London tourist attraction. And not an obvious Y chromosome amongst them.

This ought not to be a postworthy observation, but we are where we are.
