Relevant comment on the ROF piece:

"Note that the application was unopposed. In a contested applicationI do wonder about clean hands and the need to use the information only for the purposes of the intended litigation. "

Deletion msg on another thread confirms makinitup is a previously banned poster btw

Xenia · 10/04/2019 14:21

In some cases legal proceedings have been allowed to be served to an anonymous email addrews if that is the only way to identify the person.

Secondly sometimes even with an anon one you can find out who someone is even if just by searching their anonymous email address itself if they haven't only use it once on the site.

Most websites say they will divulge users' details if required by the court which is very sensible from the website's point of view.

On the trans issues as a general principle I hope we can maintain as much freedom of speech as possible.

I have been so desperate to start talking more on these threads and worried about being found as I have a young family and my own business. So I re registered with a new email and a new name. The more in depth I have gone the more furious I am.

Lamaha · 10/04/2019 14:25

That appearing in the Times is costly for Hayden.

A lot of the comments on the Times article cite exactly that line. Also, one commentor has urged readers to check out Kiwifarms.
The plot thickens...

Leaving this here in case lamaha needs more reading / laughs I read it yesterday! Absolute top novch entertainment and I can't wait for the next episode!

I finished the Kiwifarms thread and the climax was fantastic: several Mumsnetters joining in the discussion. Collaboration!
Now we just need a few of them here -- but they'd have to learn to behave otherwise it's the naughty step.

NotTerfNorCis · 10/04/2019 14:38

So someone who wants to suppress freedom of expression argues for freedom of expression when that person is harassing and stalking another. One rule for me and another for the rest, the mark of a narcissist.

I'm not surprised that makinitup is a pbp, too much extraneous detail in the opening post.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 10/04/2019 14:47

This is the story that is sitting next to Hayden's great victory, on the DM website atm

Where have I heard the name "Tiffany Aching" before?

InfiniteSheldon · 10/04/2019 14:48

So SH has used the courts to silence or at least try to someone referring to SH's criminal past? And SH is the one being bullied? Have I got that right? So we mustn't talk about SH's criminal past? SH doesn't want people to know SH has a criminal past so we mustn't keep mentioning it? The criminal past that is. It would be sad for SH if people knew about her criminal past.

GirlDownUnder · 10/04/2019 14:51

Tiffany Achin was a character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series - brilliant books, brilliant man.

Cockwomle stole a name.

GirlDownUnder · 10/04/2019 14:52

Tiffany Aching was a character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series - brilliant books, brilliant man.

Specifically, the girl who is the lead character in the younger people's su series. She's 9 in the first one, late teens in the last. A great character but an iffy choice for a grownup.

ErrolTheDragon · 10/04/2019 16:02

No idea why there's a random 'su' in there.

pepperpot99 · 10/04/2019 16:13

So is it the case that a certain person claiming to be a female has changed their identity to cover up.their criminal record? What if that person applied for a job with DBS forms? I wouldn't want them in my kids schools, for example.
What sort of crimes were committed?

I wouldn't trust Hayden with private information. I would agree to hand it to a legal representative only, so, if indeed legal action was to be taken only the solicitor would have need to use it, not Hayden...unless Hayden can prove any legal credentials and is covered by regulations governing solicitors...which Hayden cannot.

One notices how Hayden courts the attention Tweeting nastiness and harassing women, even the court order gets a Tweet! But Debbie Hayton gets suspended for a retweet of it!

Hayden is a vexatious attention-seeking litigator and has left an indelible trail indicating thus.

A history of violence (assault with a golf club, indecent assault), leaving 'pushed' from the Law Society under a cloud; bogus/ questionable 'lawyer' business I A (SRH) Limited; numerous Twitter sock accounts; threatening e.g Caroline Farrow; friends with ex-Dr. Harrop; got a mother arrested & in front of her children;

I think there's enough information about Hayden at least to ask a Judge to set safety parameters around sharing private information with a person of this calibre. Handing over this Mumsnet contributor's details will put her in danger & the judge needs to know.

Good luck.

pepperpot99 · 10/04/2019 16:49

Wow. That must be the fastest deletion in all history. Why must the truth be suppressed? It's Stalinist.

pepperpot99 · 10/04/2019 16:55

I'm glad I know the truth now. It's a public duty to tell the truth IMO.
