Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, couldn’t see it. The article in the Guardian is pretty much what you would expect - What is interesting is the article is open to pre moderated comments - which is unusual for the guardian - what is heartening is the level of sensible GC comments that are the most recommended BTL - on a slightly different topic the article is illustrated by a long haired TW (?) wearing a unicorn rubber ring looking at their nails in a slightly pouty way - there is wonderful comment - on the absolute ridiculousness - of this as a portrayal of stereotypical ‘feminine’ swimming - anyway the GC comments in a paper I had given up on - made me feel happier - ps hope the link is working

Yes, the comments are heartening. Some are very well articulated. I'm glad one comment managed to raise the point about citing suicide stats being against Samaritans guidelines (besides the fact that the suicide stats are questionable anyway) - the Guardian really should know better.

I do wonder why the Guardian felt able to open comments on this particular article, when readers have been gagged for so long.

Apologies for duplicating a thread - I didn’t spot one was up and running

The comments are heartening I love the fact that the ‘Guardian Picks’ do not select any of the most recommended comments!

Comments open on a trans-related article?

Flipping heck!
