Sounds promising - they're the one's who withdrew from that free speech conference who no platforms Julie Bindel when Peter Tatchell replaced her.

This looks like it could be an important intervention.

One more very welcome sign that things are changing. Thank God.

I can't have much confidence when the UN report on poverty in the UK could be so easily dismissed.

We @IndexCensorship are seriously concerned about apparent rise in police intervention on issues of legal speech in UK, particularly apparent confusion between speech that social media platforms might choose to outlaw under their terms of service and legally permissible speech

I think this distinction between an internet provider’s terms of service and what is legally permissible is very helpful. Like the letter for Rosa Freedman and others. I feel that the police and no platformers have really tried to blur the distinction between speech they find offensive and illegal speech.

It’s a bit late but better late than never.
