“Councillor Murray began abusing me online when my cross-party committee took the view that the sex question on the census should remain male/female. This is also the view of the Office of National Statistics.

If I understand Non-Binary correctly, we are all (with respect to anyone NB reading this) NB, to a certain extent, some/all of the time. I certainly didn't conform to "feminine" roles/clothing/expectations all my life but I was born a wee lassie & that is where my X will go on the Census-as I require sex based services (for breast screening/cervical smears etc.). I have the potential to have osteoporosis & various other ailments so services for women (more complex than just Health I know) need to be planned. Why have I got less income than male counterparts? Partly because of my sex as I took time off to care for babies/toddlers (no childcare available then) so had less time to accrue an occupational Pension. For many women it is because of the Sex Pay Gap because work part time to fit around caring for older family members. A Councillor should want Data to show this & sex discrimination/disadvantage. Perhaps instead of slagging Joan he should read some of the great work she has done:
"To ask the Scottish Government what work it is doing to ensure that all public bodies are fulfilling their public sector equality duty with regard specifically to the protected characteristic of “sex” as represented in the Equality Act 2010." (Scottish Parliament S5O-02754 10th Jan 2019)
This is (checks newspaper/photo) a beardy person in a man's suit/tie making more misogynist comments online towards yet another woman. Given this is a pattern (with evidence in the public domain)-why are they still in public office in Dundee?

A lot of the anger of those individuals will now turn on the organisations that profit from transgenderism. Stonewall, Trans Pride, Gendered Intelligence, Mermaids, etc. These are now The Establishment.

The bigger organisations cannot be associated with threats of violence for too long (because they need government funding). So they have to be seen to cast out the worst of the extremists. The result of this will be that the extremists will turn their ire on these organisations for abandoning them as they will no doubt see it.

After all, what is the point of being transgender if you are not allowed in the transgender organisations to wield power?

The Times article (though the headline is OK & quotes by Joan good) is minimising this as I have only seen Joan being respectful-that is not "Tit for Tat". Also saying GM doesn't want to be referred to as "he" should have stated not "she" either. I see "they" was posted by them, as preferred pronouns, on their own Social Media. Using "health" as an excuse to bow out again -this seems to be a pattern (PR, who has been charged with Police, used that too). What about the health of women who are being threatened?

I saw on GM's Linkedin page that they state they are currently "District Scout Network Leader" & "Scout Active Support" for the Scout Association.

I hope the standards commission sort this out. Murray is a disgrace. It appears a GM also engineered a pile onto the Women and Girls in Scotland survey. They received really vile abuse. Just more misogyny masquerading as woke...
