A zigbot is anyone that identifies as a zigbot. You just know you're one.

Indefinogender.

Don't you define me. Did you just define me?

JaneJeffer · 29/03/2019 00:26

So tell me what you want, what you really, really want.

barelove · 29/03/2019 00:26

Smile I was responding to It this type of shit thread which loses any real point that may need making
not realising that that wasn't the last post! I'm too tired to remember to check for page numbers

GeordieGenes · 29/03/2019 00:27

I'm sorry, but the people-formerly-known-as-women aren't trusted to know their own genders. People with XY chromosomes will decide your gender for you.

Warning - if you click that link I just did, just look at the flag, don't for the sake of your sanity venture into the text below it.ConfusedConfusedConfused

ToeToToe · 29/03/2019 00:28

I think I really need to sleep now.

Ereshkigal · 29/03/2019 00:29

You could almost say that it's "assigned"...

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2019 00:29

Quite right, GG. We're forgetting the rules - #8 I think

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2019 00:32

Was that flag for me, Ereshkigal?
Nothing remotely fairy-like about a swamp dragon. Dragon

Ereshkigal · 29/03/2019 00:34

No, I didn't mean it to apply to you Grin I don't see you as "fairy dragon kin"

barelove · 29/03/2019 00:34

You are all way quicker at typing than me

I believe I should've been assigned Snaloise as my gender at birth. Snaloise's are super slow at typing. That's our most definitive thing. We have Snaloise brains Sad

Ereshkigal · 29/03/2019 00:35

Toe to Toe
By your reference to the skeleton you must have seen same the Twitter thread that I did.
That person is a lunatic but there was some great responses.

GeordieGenes · 29/03/2019 00:37

It's quite simple really.

XY chromosomes= take your pick. You can be whatever gender you like.

XX chromosomes= please await further instructions. No debate.

Indeed I was! Poor old Sally Hines.

Sally Hines thinks female skeletons didn't even exist before the Renaissance.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2019 00:42

I linked re Hines upthread.

ToeToToe · 29/03/2019 00:43

*No doubt it's white colonialism or something.

Female skeletons - so regressive.

Bloody biology, just existing like that.

BlueAndWhiteTunica · 29/03/2019 00:55

Toygender Hmm

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2019 00:58

I tell you what, it's a good thing that horizontal stripes are generally considered unflattering, else we could be signalling goodness knows what genders with colourful t-shirts.

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2019 01:00

I quite like this one

Absolutepowercorrupts · 29/03/2019 01:05

Sorry Errol I didn't notice that

BlazeAway · 29/03/2019 01:05

I belong to a group where the Committee rules have just been re-written. We used to have two members' reps, one of which had to be female and one male. We now have two reps "who must identify as different gender identities".

I am now safe in the knowledge that just because the women's rep position is filled, I could still put myself forward! I like the sound of "anongender" which is when you and others don't know what your gender is. Luckily I'm still happy to use she/her as my pronouns. Grin

In fairness, the club is lovely, and this has been written to be kind and let everybody fit in and not be uncomfortable. I'm not entirely sure they realise quite how many gender identities there are though... I would never actually take advantage of the absolutely enormous loophole they've created.
