ALTERNATIVE to Stonewall Glossary of Terms...

BolloxtoGender · 28/03/2019 20:11

....anyone got a good gender critical alternative to the non sense clap trap that is the Stonewall Glossary of Terms please?

One that doesn’t have the meaning of words corrupted by TRANs ideology? Or do I need to make one up from a blank slate?

TIA

If there isn’t a GC alternative, perhaps we can help you!

BIPHOBIA

The fear or dislike (frequently experienced by men) of any word beginning with the letters “B” and “I”, especially when related to two wheeled vehicles. Lesbian videos where BI-cycles are used as an analogy for women are especially triggering to biphobic men.

SomeDyke · 28/03/2019 20:55

LESBIAN
Refers to a woman who has an emotional, romantic and/or sexual orientation towards women. That is, a female homosexual, a female attracted towards those of her own sex.

DYKE Female homosexuals who are getting more and more cross that Stonewall is trying to re-write and redefine their sexual orientation.

BUTCH DYKES (see also FEMME) Another group of female homosexuals who Stonewall continues to ignore.

See also: fags, camp gay men, screaming queens, harpies and harridans, viragos, bulldykes and various others that don't fit the new Stonewall T-narrative, and who refuse to get under the big umbrella. (Plus those from MN who are also 'a bit cross').

You don’t even need to get past the A’s:

ALLY

A (typically) straight and/or cis person who supports members of the LGBT community, until they like or retweet something we don’t like, or express even the slightest disagreement with our dogma at which point they can BURN IN HELL (cf “Terf”)

MIdgebabe · 28/03/2019 21:10

NONE Binary = person who does not fit neatly into a gender category. AKA human

AnyOldPrion · 28/03/2019 21:20

PASSING

Something people do to one another on pavements. In general, passing involves men (however they identify) barging onwards in a straight line, while women and children step aside. On occasion, feminists attempt to use the barging strategy. This generally results in a collision OR BANG. A collision between a number of feminists and men is colloquially known as a GANG BANG.

COMING OUT

When a person first tells someone/others about their identity as lesbian, gay, bi or trans. and how to identify that your 2 year old child is coming out as trans because they're playing with the wrong toys

HawkeyeInConfusion · 28/03/2019 22:17

NON-BINARY

Everyone.

NotBadConsidering · 28/03/2019 22:43

GILLICK COMPETENCE

A term used in medical law to decide whether a child (under 16 years of age) is able to consent to their own medical treatment, without the need for parental permission or knowledge, the distortion of which is being used to justify the sterilisation and removal of sexual function in otherwise healthy children.

SEX

Assigned Observed and recorded at birth on the basis of primary sex characteristics (genitalia) and reproductive functions. Sometimes the terms ‘sex’ and ‘gender’ are interchanged incorrectly to mean ‘male’ or ‘female’.

BolloxtoGender · 28/03/2019 22:51

Very good points MNs.

Starting with the basics, I came up with these. Please let me know if they are in correct.

SEX

"Either of two categories male or female as determined by biology. Sex of a person is observed and recorded at birth.
Sex of a person is unchangeable."

Gender

"Commonly used as a euphemism for 'sex'.

Gender can be a synonym for personality, sexist stereotype.

Gender can be expressed or performed in terms of society's expectations of what is considered masculine or feminine.

Meaning of 'gender' is constantly evolving due to ongoing debate and ideology.

Sex (based on biological fact) is not the same as gender (based on social construct), they must not be conflated in meaning."

It's late and I am too tired to be clear on the wording, but when using "biology" or "biological" in a definition, it's often useful to be more precise (anatomy, primary or secondary sex characteristics, hormone profile, genotype, etc.)

Also please help me with "gender" vs "gender identity". Are they the same? I know "gender expression" is different.

Trans: trans what?

Fallingirl · 29/03/2019 03:09

I’d say that gender is external to the person and inflicted on us by a given culture in a process of gendered socialisation.

Gender identity is internal to the person.
Gender identity is often attempted used as replacement for gender, thereby removing all critiques of societal expectation and socialisation people ate subjected to.

Queer

Stonewall's definition:

Queer is a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of romantic orientation, sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It can also be a way of rejecting the perceived norms of the LGBT community

My definition:

A term that enables straight people to be admitted to the LGBTQWERY+++. A Queer person affects to reject all labels on their their sex, gender identity, orientation and paraphilias.

Opposed within some quarters of the LGBT based on past experience with the Paedophile Information Exchange (1970s, UK)

IAmSimmo · 29/03/2019 10:48

GENDER

A linguistic term referring to the categorising of nouns in typically Latin derived languages. The gender of a noun is either "masculine" or "feminine".

This word was appropriated in the 1950's and 1960's by a bunch of dubious, non medical, paedophile academics so they could abuse youngsters and children.

HawkeyeInConfusion · 29/03/2019 17:47

Another attempt.

NON-BINARY

Not having a personality that conforms entirely to the gender stereotypes associated with either sex (for the culture and time in which you live) and/or not having a strong feeling of being male or female beyond the reality of your biology.

In practice, this applies to the vast majority of humans. So the term non-binary only tends to be used by those who wish to have a special label to mark them out as different or superior to everyone else when they have no other defining characteristic.

BolloxtoGender · 29/03/2019 18:19

Irony is these desparate attention seekers are identifying themselves as 'not special' by the non-binary label which they say defines them.

TRANS. An abbreviation for "transgression", as in boundaries.

SNART. A reversed transperson.

Transhuman. A Silicon Valley billionaire who prefers life on Mars, or in an eternally renewed body, or in the neurons uploaded to the cloud, as soon as that becomes possible.
