Had a quick scan and yes, I agree with her. It's a useful link for women new to feminism and a useful reminder to those of us who consider ourselves feminists that a great many people who say they are feminists have a very different idea of what feminism is.

The state of the comment section...full of 'MGTOW' whinging. Led me to MGTOW reddit and I read their sidebar link and what the actual fuck.

The problem with saying that we are working towards women becoming equal to men is that it frames men and male cultures as being the optimum culture or the ideal goal that women should reach to become equal

This. I don’t want to be like a man in a patriarchal society. I want a new society that accommodates everyone and supports our differences. Men and women are different and we should be supporting everyone no matter where they lie on that spectrum.
