Yeah it must be a self nomination, this guy apparently has 145k twitter followers but never even a single like for a tweet, just a few responses calling him a predator. Even the TRAs have dropped him now.

Looks like a nomination isn't remotely the same thing as being shortlisted - anyone can nominate anyone else and there are usually thousands of nominations. So not as bad as feared. The Twitter replies are funny, though.

Deborah Orr is fabulous on Twitter at the moment. She's peak transed recently and gives no fucks. And can counter the snowflakey TRAs with logic, science, and argument. And does so robustly, but politely.
