'Monster' child molester now female and living in a halfway house

It is reported that Madilyn, formerly Matthew Harks, has 3 convictions, relating to sexual assaults on four, five and seven year old girls, but says that he has committed more than 200 offences against more than 60 young girls. Harks is described as having an ' 'all encompassing preoccupation with interest in sexually abusing young girls' and in 2016 was reported to be facing charges for assault, unlawful confinement, and sexual assault where 'the targets of your alleged offences have children and are considered to be childlike in appearance'.

Harks has an 'elevated' risk of re-offending, and is believed to be in a specific Brampton half-way house, which has a 'satellite apartment' for women and their infnant children.

Harks 'has a history of befriending parents to prey on their children'.

You couldn't make it up.

Apparently the (existing) Canadian law recognised the risks of sex offenders trying to change identity, and so in 2012 when Harks 'became a woman', the name change was made public/

The gender change however falls under a different ideology, as 'this never happens', so it wasn't specifically noted.

Harks "will no longer have to follow a treatment plan to address a risk of sexual recidivism, nor will she have to follow psychiatric treatment including taking prescribed medication to address that risk"

It is not clear what medication they were referring to, however in the 1980s there was a Dr. Berlin who effectively 'transed' sex offenders, treating them with female sex hormones. This allowed them to avoid incarceration for their rapes. However his clinic fell into disrepute when it emerged that one or more offenders visiting Berlin's clinic who would stop off to sexually assault children on the way to getting their shots. www.chronicle.com/article/The-Professor-of-Horrible/242542
