Hollyoaks beat them to it by a long way then.

Hollyoaks beat them to it by a long way then.
And Eastenders.

BareBelliedSneetch · 24/03/2019 15:32

Ha, I don’t watch either of those. Neighbours is my only soapy vice Grin

And way behind Corrie, who did this back in the late 1990s

NeedChoos · 24/03/2019 15:34

Corrie had them beat with Haley a decade ago...

WeRiseUp · 24/03/2019 15:39

Yes. Transfer Media Watch Helen Belcher and Christine Burns have been all over consulting British media for a loooooong time.

From Wiki
At the age of 10, Stone was the youngest person to receive hormone blockers in Australia which set a precedent that eventually changed the law

10 years old.
Another sterilised, life long medically-committed child of gender ideology.

Hooray.

PrettyAmazingGrace · 24/03/2019 17:29

Emmerdale too, ftm.

InfiniteSheldon · 24/03/2019 17:33

Having a trans character and dealing honestly with the current issues related self, safeguarding and women rights are two different things.

InfiniteSheldon · 24/03/2019 17:34

*regarding self id

cattycattycat · 24/03/2019 18:52

Hope you could understand that, obviously Asan was as an.

BarbieJellyBabyBrain · 24/03/2019 19:13

I long for the days of Hayley Cropper to be honest.

ToeToToe · 24/03/2019 19:26

I think an awful lot of the population thinks that all transwomen are like lovely, diminutive Hayley Cropper - played by an actual woman of course. I think they're less familiar with the likes of Jacintha, Karen White etc.

The former, nobody minds in the women's loos - the latter, probably not.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 24/03/2019 19:29

yes it was ludicrous that Hayley was played by a woman.

NoseringGirl · 24/03/2019 20:53

The things that irritates me with this is that she's not even an actor. She approached Neighbours with a storyline and is a TRA.

WeRiseUp · 24/03/2019 21:07

That's male entitlement in action.
