So would it be worth reporting twitter posts that imply Muslim women just need tk be "reeducated" as a hate crime?

I hate to waste police time but I think if this was coming from both sides the police would shut it down.

If saying that men can't be women is offensive than saying people need to give up their religious beliefs is the same.

There was a tweet along those lines from a well known womens officer who keeps deleting their tweets. I did report it to Twitter, but it needs to be read by a human not a bot.

Sex IS a protected characteristic despite concerted efforts to convince the public otherwise. Though misogyny is not a hate crime and twitter lists gender instead of sex (because they are misogynistic wankers).

I see where you are coming from, but it would be a waste of police time and I assume you do not think it should be a hate crime to criticise religions? So it's doing something you do not believe in.

I think it would expose the hypocrisy of it though, and I believe in that.

Ignoring misogyny, (which is obviously AOK) racism, xebophobia, islamophobia run riot on twitter and because these groups are used to being targeted and have real abuse to deal with, they dont mass report to the police on thought crimes.

I also think its important as 'transphobic' hate crimes keep being reported as the fastest growing etc which makes sense if every micro agression like "misgendering" counts but every act of racism is ignored.
