Cultural appropriation of transwomen by women - Friday thoughts

Thanks to R4 The Now Show this evening, I'm just mooching on thoughts about how this could play out.

Cultural Appropriation
The unacknowledged or inappropriate adoption of the customs, practices, ideas, etc. of one people or society by members of another and typically more dominant people or society.

So, given that those who subscribe to gender ideology who believe that transwomen are women, also believe that transwomen are less privileged than women --not using *that c word, people, but the 'c' word

When should we expect the next ideological and linguistical onslaught that will tell women how awful they are and how they need to 'check their privilege'? That by being women, but not transwomen, they are culturally appropriating the customs, practices and ideas of transwomen (as above, who are the now less dominant group)?

In this context, I'm thinking of the people who have insisted that people with penises have 'female penises', and the people who have shouted 'transwomen are -women' and also must be the most oppressed group of women :-

And if you think I'm being hyperbolic - the appropriation of the definition of 'adult human female' by those who have penises has been the swiftest linguistic appropriation I think I've ever seen!

So, at what stage do these most oppressed groups , transwomen, start to shout against the cultural appropriation of their identities?

Ciswomen are culturally appropriating the customs and ideas of transwomen

I give it six months, people!

Six months until some posters on this forum could be telling women that their appropriation' of transwomen's customs, practices, etc, is cultural appropriation.

I think they tried that one already don't have evidence to hand but as I recall A Harrock accused Posie Parker of appropriating the word Woman.
It never gained traction.

The barycenter of trans ideology is appropriation, and projection. So it would follow that projection -"I'm approprating you so I'll accuse you of appropriating me"- will be their next path, but I think it never gained traction.

Without appropriation there is no culture.

However, if they mean the overdone makeup and hair, they can have those back, for sure.

It's not quite the same but that recent hoohah about the women who found some extra pi digits was actually a transwoman. So that would be women appropriating the achievements of transwomen for themselves?

I'm sure I've seen them claim that drag queens are usinbg cultural appropriation - not of women of course, just transwomen

The tweets in the third image are my favourite ever Katelyn Burns tweets. KB comes so close to admitting that trans ideology has no internal logic and is built on lies and misogyny.

"Because if anyone can be a trans woman, what becomes a way to divide them? Birth sex?"

I’m starting to think what we’re seeing here with transgender ideology is in fact early AI psy-ops.

Tut, tut! Surely everyone knows that bio sex is a social construct Grin
