In the Scottish Parliament today Joan McAlpine MSP asked the Scottish Justice Secretary whether Police Scotland and the Scottish Court Services record incidents according to the alleged perpetrator's birth sex of self-declaration.

The Justice Secretary confirmed that Police Scotland and the court and tribunal services do indeed record suspects according to their self-identified gender and that Police Scotland require no evidence of certification as proof of gender other than a person's self declaration.

Good for Joan. Not good for Police Scotland.
I'll put up a link to footage when I get one.

Joan is now coming under attack from those horrible trans activists who are claiming to be disabled and most vulnerable of all as usual so if anyone's on Twitter and fancies giving Joan a bit of moral support...

For the record:

So-called "misgendering" is an irrelevance in any UK law.

So-called "deadnaming" is an irrelevance in any UK law. In fact, it is mandated when it relates to the Birth Certificate of any child who has a parent who "transitions" :

"12 Parenthood
The fact that a person’s gender has become the acquired gender under this Act does not affect the status of the person as the father or mother of a child."

Ain't this great...

'Misgendering' is something men seem to do frequently to themselves for their own reasons.

Grin

Great comeback, cannot give a moment of my time to those who twist, they are not even worthy of a response [you are saying I'm a male because of being accused of mysogyny, pfft...😂😂😂😂
So so entertaining, but also pretty sad not to mention gaslighting

It's interesting that transgenderism isn't a mental illness -and yet so many people who describe themselves as trans have other difficulties, autism being the obvious one.

It's almost as if the two are linked in some way.

Curious.

Smotheroffive · 29/03/2019 00:13

Hmm agreed, very interesting...

How can this not ring alarm bells?

Police Scotland has been criticised by women’s rights campaigners after the force was unable to say when it made a decision to allow criminal suspects to “self-identify” their gender.
...
But Police Scotland has been unable to confirm when that change was made, saying the policy “evolved” over time.
