Crimes committed by trans people

esk1mo · 12/03/2019 22:47

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone had any information about crimes committed by either MTF or FTM transgender people.

I remember coming across a thread of examples on Twitter but I can’t find it now Hmm They were specifically involving violent or sexual crimes in changing rooms and bathrooms etc

I have one website with many examples but was looking for more sources (womenarehuman.com)

I’m quite curious to know if FTM transgender people want to be in male prisons or use male bathrooms, or view
any crime statistics/examples.

Everything seems to focus on Male to female especially on Twitter so it’s hard to find information.

I finally decided to join Twitter and I’m astounded by the number of people who deny that ANY crime is being committed by MTF trans Sad

OP posts:

Ah, sorry about that. I was quite wrong. For some reason - partly the opening phrasing - and because I was on a slow connection and couldn't check out the OP I was concerned it might be a harvesting exercise. Can't think why I'm so paranoid! Anyway, the OP is good and it' a good thread, so apologies.

when we are talking about the set of transwomen, then we need to understand them as a subset of males, because there are no logical grounds for doing anything else.

This is is true.....and why its so shocking that all normal safeguarding regards children goes out the window, when the magical prefix 'trans' appears, to describe a child who is a biological male. (And has no business changing/showering/sleeping anywhere near girls.)

hoodathunkit · 13/03/2019 10:24

The below cases are not of men who identify as trans

They are of men who experienced an impulse to step into the clothing / skin of women as this gave them a sense of release from irrepressible sexual urges. The below men are / were deeply disturbed fetishists.

I suspect that many of the rapists, paedophiles and murderers who claim to be “trans” are not in fact trans at all.

They are men who hate women and who experience a need to get inside women, through rape, theft of clothing and undergarments, cross-dressing, invading women’s bedrooms / homes / safe spaces and through, in some instances, trophy collecting of women’s body parts.

The following cases are extremely triggering and disturbing to read about. Interested readers can find documentaries about these criminals easily on the www but please be careful, there are images, films and descriptions that are very distressing for even the most resilient viewer

I believe that we should be thinking about these individuals as people occupying an extreme end of a continuum of sexual offending related to AGP and nothing to do with transsexual / transgender people. I say this as someone who is not any kind of authority on transgender issues and who can imagine that many people feel tormented by feelings of being born into the wrong body but who do not feel compelled to occupy and violate women’s bodies / spaces.

So, for your consideration

I give you

Ever heard of Paul Luckman?

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Peter_Aston

Now known as Nicole Louise Pearce

alchetron.com/Nicole-Louise-Pearce-(Paul-Luckman)

m.youtube.com/watch?v=A6og5Wx1Q94

Of course, Luckman sexually assaulted and killed a 13 year old boy, so no doubt Luckman will be batted away as ‘not evidence that trans identifying males are a danger to women and girls).

Eye roll,

BettyDuMonde · 13/03/2019 11:02

One of the links I posted has a mis-identified photo - instead of Nicole, it pictures US wife murderer Michelle Kosilek:

This is Nicole: commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nicole-Pearce-Paul-Luckman-2010s-Victoria-Australia.jpg

Oh, and a bonus one, from this very week (obviously not convicted):

PeeGreen · 13/03/2019 11:52

Thanks for that link BettyDuMonde,

Another Australian psycho (maybe he was the one I read about?)

That 'alchetron' page is interesting in that it's just a copy from Wikipedia.

But it's not on Wikipedia any more.

Why not? The Wikifiddlers deleted it, saying it's an 'Attack page or negative unsourced BLP'

en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&page=Nicole+Louise+Pearce

The grounds for deletion are here:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard/Archive268#Nicole_Louise_Pearce

"The article reads like a POV piece demonising the subject, "

"I am not denying that the actions perpetrated by the subject of the article (as described in the sources) are awful, but there are several very problematic aspects to the article, such as discussion of the gender identity of the person as if that were a factor, "

And the reply from a fellow Wikifdildder

"That is indeed terrible. I've taken a somewhat unusual measure, perhaps, by redirecting the article to Murder of Peter Aston. It strikes me as in line with BLP1E, and the edit history shows that the article creator, who indeed seems to be an SPA, is up against various editors who cite WP policy more appropriately. User:Crimescrutineer, you can make your case on the article talk page. That discussion, along with this one, will decide the fate of the article. In the meantime I will not hesitate to block you if you continue the edit warring or undo the redirect. "

The contributor is disparaged as a 'SPA', i.e. a single-purpose account, because they dared to write an article about a murderer who happens to be transgender.

This is despite an editing history in other areas of crime

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Crimescrutineer

that don't relate to that particular killer.

The Wikifiddlers really are shameless.

BettyDuMonde · 13/03/2019 14:28

Wow.

Amazed at what people want scrubbed from the internet :/

Reminds me of the whole evening I spent reading the wiki talk/edits page for ‘Woman’.

Spoiler: They finally settled on a definition that is so circular as to be meaningless. Way to to go, wikiwokebros!

PeeGreen · 13/03/2019 16:42

The Wikipedia article was linked from Reddit

old.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/7ksisv/til_australian_child_murderer_psychopath/

There is more on him here

murderpedia.org/male.L/l/luckman-paul.htm

It looks like people got triggered by facts.

The current Wikipedia article allows only

"In 1989, Luckman began taking hormones on the advice of a psychiatrist, as he felt more like a woman than a man. A year later, Luckman changed his name by deed poll to Nicole Louise Pearce and underwent gender reassignment surgery.[1]:14 On 26 October 1999, he was released from the Kirkconnell Correctional Centre, a minimum security male-only facility in inland New South Wales.[1]:14"

I just checked the Wikipedia article on Caitlyn Jenner, who was first famous as 'He' and 'Bruce'

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caitlyn_Jenner

They carefully avoid the use of pronouns altogether in favour of 'Jenner' throughout the period when Jenner identified as a man.

Yet this murder article uses 'he' pronouns and fails to correctly name him as Nicole Pearce in the introduction, in accordance with the manual of style en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Gender_identity

ottawasun.com/news/local-news/0313-butcher/wcm/be994bb3-3d77-4a0e-a56b-baeec0c46631

Khaled Farhan, dubbed The Butcher of Gatineau by the press in 1999 after killing and then dismembering his lover days later, has won parole with the hopes of starting a new, quiet life as a transgender woman at an undisclosed halfway house.

Farhan, now 46 and legally named Zahra Farhan, was found guilty in 2000 for the second-degree murder of her live-in girlfriend Karina Janveau, 24.

andyoldlabour · 14/03/2019 10:19

OvaHere

That is an unbelievably shocking account. A brutal murderer who lied constantly, the sister of the victim being one of the first at the scene and then later committed suicide, it doesn't get any worse.
I wish they would stop referring to these animals as "she", it just isn't right, a complete insult to the deceased and relatives.
They shouldn't ever be let out of prison.

Lamaha · 14/03/2019 10:30

I need to say this: even if NO crimes were ever committed by transwomen I still would be opposed to male-bodied persons in women's spaces. I do not want to share facilities with them for reasons of privacy. I absolutely loathe the male gaze and I know that males simply cannot help looking, assessing, desiring or rejecting undressed women as sexual partners and do not want this.
Also men leave dirty toilets behind (urine on floors and seats), leave seats up, leave cubicle doors open -- I can tolerate this in my own home but not in public spaces.
And that's just me. WHat about women from very conservative cultures: why should their wishes and needs for privacy be ignored?
It's not just about crime. Please mention this whenever you argue against mixed facilities. It's about privacy and dignity.

R0wantrees · 14/03/2019 11:47

Its unhelpful to group 'transpeople' together.
There are clear differences between offending patterns of males and females. These are sex based.

The patterns do not seem to demonstrate a change determined by a person's gender identity any more than with other features.

Statistics about males who are trans are hidden first when their crimes are recorded as being committed by women (conflation of gender self-id & sex) & secondly when recorded / discussed as being by trans people (includes both m & f)

It is really important to be able to identify & name male-pattern abuse, violence & attempted control etc

PeeGreen · 14/03/2019 11:52

Yes, there really are no cases of people born with large gametes committing horrific unimaginable crimes and then changing their gender identity.

It is restricted to those people born with penises.

R0wantrees · 14/03/2019 12:07

see MSP Joan McAlpine's comments this week:

"THREAD Following my justice question today, I am grateful that @ HumzaYousaf has offered to meet criminologists concerned that crime is recorded according to the "self identified" gender of the perpetrator.
twitter.com/UpIander/status/1105843659587637249

These criminologists would include the academic consultancy Murray Blackburn Mackenzie who produced this recent paper on the subject, sent to the @ NACWGScot

twitter.com/lnmackenzie1/status/1105864545787092992

This is a UK wide issue - @ metpoliceuk began recording crime according to self declared gender in 2009. However "gender identity" has no status in law, unlike sex, a protected characteristic in the Equality Act 2010 - see here

twitter.com/HairyLeggdHarpy/status/1105876457434296323

The English Crown Prosecution Service @ hmcpsi operate same policy designed along with a number of trans lobby groups, many of whom are well funded from the public purse

twitter.com/Docstockk/status/1105873759012048897

This matters as most crimes of violence & nearly all sex offences are committed by natal males. That's not to say most males are violent or perverts. My male friends, colleagues, relatives are lovely. But male violence is statistically undeniable

Similarly, criminologists are not saying male to female trans people are more likely to offend. We don't have enough data on that. But this study found "transwomen" retained male pattern offending after transition. here

Times, 'Letting criminals self-identify gender ‘putting women at risk’

(extract)
"Joan McAlpine, a fellow SNP MSP, had raised concerns that sexual offences are disproportionately perpetrated by biological men and asked whether self-identification would therefore lead to a “misleading” rise in the number of women recorded as sex-offenders. Official statistics show that 1,007 men were convicted for sexual crimes from 2017 to 2018, compared with 46 women.

Ms McAlpine, 57, said: “Aside from the statistical corruption, I cannot be the only woman who finds it deeply offensive that male sexual violence can ever be badged as a female crime.

“The Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales take a similar approach [to the Scottish government] — it’s another example of self-identification being introduced by the back door in response to publicly-funded lobby groups.”

She highlighted the case of Katie Dolatowski, 18, a transgender sex offender who preyed on girls in public toilets in Fife and was housed in women-only accommodation after being convicted. Ms McAlpine said the policy meant Dolatowski was “recorded as a woman, when this person doesn’t even have a gender recognition certificate and is therefore legally male”. (continues)

Can we start using POGD (Prison Onset Gender Dysphoria) to describe the phenomenon of sex offenders ‘coming out as trans’ on arrest/while incarcerated?

MumsNeu02 · 06/09/2019 06:11

@R0wantrees @BettyDuMonde @PeeGreen @hoodathunkithoodathunkit .... researching online it's very obvious that Nicole Pearce AKA Paul Luckman or vice versa is posting about themselves online under various titles the most obvious of which is this one by the "Ex Deputy Governor of Corrections" at www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/7ksisv/til_australian_child_murderer_psychopath/dsztk8x/

It is obvious from the post that the sex change was a con for release.

The phrase "Nicole defiantly took responsibility for her crimes" stands out as psychopathic to me because it gives some impression that she wasn't in fact responsible or guilty, that to admit guilt was somehow to go over and obove... A key trait among that type of offender.

MIdgebabe · 06/09/2019 07:34

IF people are asking for scientific evidence then you have to ask back. Where is the scientific evidence that transwomen commit offences at a lower rate than men? That’s does not exist, neither does anecdotal evidence exist for that positions, o clearly weaker position.

At this point they will tell you they can prove that transwomen are attacked at a higher rate than women . Ask them to prove that they are attacked at a higher rate than men/prostitutes ( in some countries transwomen work a lot as prostetute, which is to my mind a sad thing, but all prostetutes are at high risk of attack and murder)
