Is there a book running on when the answers will be supplied/resignation/reshuffle announced?

I know she's not going to give her definition of 'woman', to explain how she knows with such certainty that men who feel compelled to comply with sexist stereotypes typically associated with women ARE women.

But wouldn't it be nice if she did have a good answer? we could all relax and go home.

I feel disappointment brewing.

I hope she surprises me.

Government need to realise women make up over 50% of the population & we are not happy with the current law.....it’s a direct safeguarding risk not only for women but for children also....the whole notion of issuing a GRC is nonsense & unnecessary. Of course people can be transexual but that does not make a man a woman.

She has started to make more conciliatory noises. I reckon that the party line (TWAW & the most oppressed group ever in the world) that MPs have been spun by the Civil service is starting to collide with the reality of letters from horrified constituents and the evident lack of safeguarding of children that the Times , Mail etc are so diligently reporting.

The light being shone on the abuse and bullying of women is also helping.

I just thinking it's taking her longer than she thought to come up with the best way of fobbing us off without causing uproar a la Creasy and NSPCC.

Creasy, NSPCC, and now Penny that could keep the Sunday’s going for a month!

Maybe an investigative journalist could answer the many questions raised if our elected officials are unable to?

Be interesting to see what her take on transwomen in sport is.
She can't have avoided noticing that one.
Wonder if she's seen Dr Ruddy McKnackers latest delightful tweets about smear tests really being about affirming the gender wishes of the HCP, and not about the actual woman consenting to the procedure.

As for everything else, I'm deflating my sad little balloon of hope myself, in advance, to save disappointment later.

I would suspect that Humphrey or his current equivalent has been urgently spinning words to say as little as possible and avoid taking any kind of stance that could be seen as coming down on either side. I hope, unlike the NSPCC, she doesn't bottle it altogether, but she is in a very difficult position in that corner she's helped paint herself/been painted into.
