The Guardian in support of a book which argues against the idea of pink and blue brains (as an inherent sex-related difference).

So how can one have a pink brain in a blue body, Guardian?

I'm reading Cordelia Fine now and have ordered Gina Rippon. The woke bros are engaged in cognitive dissonance. On the one hand they know it's wrong to say that women are in any way inferior to men and obviously if science shows so conclusively that male and female brains are the same they would look stupid to disagree. On the other hand they believe that being a woman is simply a matter of a deep down feeling which you are born with - a gender identity that is unprovable and would require a level of telepathy - how can you know what 'feeling like a woman' is unless you can mind read into women's heads? Despite over 50 years experience, I don't have any idea of what 'feeling like a woman' is despite being one. Anyone not signing up to this is, apparently, a 'transphobe' rather than someone who just prefers rationality and evidence over magical thinking. These two positions are incompatible which is probably why there is so much effort to close down discussion and abuse those who raise it.

Shon appears to have gone very quiet at the mo.

It's a great book btw, cheaper on amazon though.
