Very good. Thanks

Thanks failingatlife. Good read - that last paragraph about tulip mania and alchemy, Dr Laidlaw is not mincing his words, is he?

NeurotrashWarrior · 09/03/2019 07:40

Excellent article thank you.

It seems to be indicating a the possibility of a placebo effect in confirming that yes you're in the wrong body when starting the blockers that completely convinces the child to continue? Aside the fact it then halts the body following puberty normally and what those changes could bring (desist).

Also, if 100% go onto transition, it's not irreversible at all. Despite the fact they do irreversible damage to the brain and body.

Shock This article is really informative, particularly as I (and I think many people) do (did) believe that puberty blockers followed by cross-sex hormones puts a child through puberty of the opposite sex, ie developing breasts in a male or voice dropping in a female.
This article is very clear in debunking that notion.

This paragraph towards the end is particularly important

What is being advocated is medicalization of children and adolescents of the worst possible kind. Big pharma, big hospital systems, surgical centers and doctors seek to gain huge profits [29]. Lupron monthly is $775 alone. That’s a $27,000 “pause button” at 5 years [30]. Creating a pseudo-vagina is $25-30K. Creating a pseudo-penis from arm skin flaps and forearm muscle and removing the ovaries and uterus can easily cost $30-40k and take multiple surgeries to complete. Not to mention complications and the need for repeat surgeries as Jazz Jennings has related [31]. Multiply this together with the huge rise in cases documented or observed in Western nations and a major windfall is to be had

There is apparently something called a “gender identity” which is “a person’s deep internal sense of being female, male, a combination of both, somewhere in between or neither” [8]. This is a fantasy or superstitious belief.

The notion of 'gender identity' is what is at the heart of this toxic movement. It needs to be called out for what it is - a quasi religious belief which is helping to recruit children into a cult.

I found it very easy to read and understand. This is important in getting information out to the general public I think. Not everyone has the knowledge and critical thinking skills to wade through all the gender ideology nonsense and separate fact from scaremongering. Parents are trusting so called experts feeding them dangerous lies. This article is clear and uses many good analogies. We would never yeast someone for cancer or remove an organ/limb without evidence. So why would we put children through horrendous medical procedures without evidence?

I will be sharing this and the TGT arti le about Tavistock’s 'research' far and wide. Let's get this scandal out there.

Brilliant.

EarlyModernParent · 09/03/2019 12:37

This condition comes down to a mental state of being. In other words this feeling that a girl with a girl’s body is inside a boy is simply that, a feeling. No matter how deeply or strongly this is felt, the material reality is that this person is a girl.

IN A NUTSHELL.

SoloClarinet · 09/03/2019 15:35

In the US where affirmative therapy is the only show in town, students can access affirmative hormones and surgery via their student health insurance. I am sure that is a nice little earner for the gender clinics sprouting up around campuses across the country.

BickerinBrattle · 09/03/2019 16:08

Yes, Solo and a real surprise for parents when their child comes home for Christmas that first freshman year.
