Just listened to it - thank you for the link.
Sharon was great as was Julia. I don't agree with JHB on everything politically but I completely agree with her on this issue and I think she covers it really well. Even when I don't agree with her I enjoy listening to her, she doesn't feel the need to apologetic about her stance and I applaud that.
Sharon (and this isn't a criticism of her just an observation) had to do that whole 'obviously it must be terrible to suffer gender dysphoria etc etc... which women seem to need to do to talk about this issue to avoid unpleasant abuse - I don't blame her for doing that (I do it myself sometimes) but I wish it could go without saying that we are against discrimination/violence against/have sympathy for and we could just get to the issue of women's rights being trampled without the bloody caveats and apology.
As always I love JHB's attitude to the word 'cis'.
