I'd like to collect some anecdotes about when and why you first became involved in the debate about gender ideology and activism. I've also asked on Twitter but thought this might be good for longer answers.

Well quite. It's interesting, that in an attempt to derail, they have actually formed part of the narrative.

How did you first peak trans? Well, I noticed that every time I tried to post about it in an area specifically delineated for me to post about, there was inappropriate boundary violation.

Oh wow, Hera's post has been deleted. No doubt for the personal attack. Hera was telling us to ignore all our sources of information because they were tainted but didn't actually suggest any more reliable ones (like The Groan or Prick News?).
In a way I'm sorry to see the post go because its arguments were non existent and basically amounted to telling us we were ignorant prejudiced people being led by the nose by the right wing press to be alarmed over nothing at all. The misogyny was on display in all its filthy glory.

I think mine is back about 5 pages :P

This whole thread should be published as a nice pastel pink coffee table book, nicely illustrated with images of transwo-men in all their glory, trampling over women, invading our spaces and sport and awards, as they do, with their manly entitlement and aggression, ridiculously claiming femaleness, in the same breath, "kill the Terf, shut the fuck up Terf, it's all about meeeeeeeeeee.... "

That TRA (and their allies) refuse to see the irony of this whole farce actually beggars belief. When am I going to wake up and find it was all a bad dream? Someone pinch me please.

Anyway, Im thinking the page borders could be a nice pearl necklace pattern.

For what it's worth though I don't have a leader (unless you count my 2 year old and her constant demands for swisps and keys (crisps and cheese). I apologise, it must be very confusing for you though all these women having independent thoughts and you not really being sure how it's happening.

One of the other things that peaked me was ransoms pretending they know the law for countries they don’t live in, and then threatening me with it. Ho hum.

Hera2 Thank-you for giving everyone reading some clear examples of the kind of abuse women are facing from TRAs:

• Gaslighting
• Unwarranted legal threats
• Sexist belittling
• Faux victimhood (I'm so much more oppressed than you...)
• Misogynistic superiority complex
• False accusations
• Ad hominem attacks (you're all far-right, pro-life etc etc)
• Talking over women and dominating their spaces, transgressing their boundaries. Basically, TRAs are MRA's. Thank-you for demonstrating to everyone how woman-hating you are on a widely read public forum and peaking more people.

I think many women's entry into this debate was reading threads on Mumsnet, and seeing the batshit behaviour and threats directed against other mums by trans activists visiting these threads....

...it's all gone a bit meta here.
