I would suggest anyone concerned with a user you feel is following around an individual in order to harrass and intimidate, to send your concerns to MNHQ.

Just can not believe that a doctor can joke about violence towards an individual and stay on the register. I am becoming seriously concerned. We all know the pattern of men getting gradually more extreme in their obsessional behaviour and how it escalates. Someone has to put a stop to this.

The GMC attitude is weird. I know of someone (female) who had a complaint against them which I and others saw as largely trivial and malicious and based on a single incident of something said in a social setting for which the person apologised. This did not stop the GMC from putting the person through several months of hell. They were cleared in the end, but not after serious stress and a lot of money spent on lawyers.

Is the difference that Adrian is male? Or that he can justify his behaviour because TRAs are such a special group.

But concerns about Harrop have been being expressed to the GMC for months - possibly earlier given it appears that his colleagues were publicly suggesting to him on Twitter at quite an early stage.

My understanding is that they even closed the complaint on him and then had to go back to original complainants to reopen it.

I don't know who you are, but the contrast between the case I know about and Harrop is huge. He appears to be given a lot more leeway.

Resurrecting this thread as Caroline Farrow's support thread is down as a temporary measure by HQ. Stephanie Hayden has served papers on Farrow in person, which they obtained from the court this morning.

Seems like Harrop, who accompanied Steph, has been tweeting coded messages to supporters, prior to Steph doorstepping the Farrow family.

Harrop was at the High Court this morning. The Ockham Stack is the holding pattern for planes coming from the South West. So not where Harrop lives and he was in London. But Ockham is within 20 miles of Farrow's residence.

I don’t have much faith in the GMC, remember Harold Shipman was in prison and still was registered with a license to practice. My only hope is that with recent headlines regarding sexual harassment and misogyny within the GMC, they act to make an example of this awful man.
