The Lottery have decided this is not enough and have given a £283k grant.

I was slightly surprised by this and decided to take a look at their recent grants.
In 2018:
£9.8k to Womankind (yes, a women's charity) to 'run a weekly therapeutic group for transgender women '
£10k to EDEN for transgender cinema
£10k to Trans-Staffordshire
£10k to Mermaids
£10k to Chrysalis
£495k (!) to Stonewall to "develop new programmes in partnership with transgender organisations to build the knowledge and skills of trans community leaders. "
Funding for specifically 'L' projects was £0.00 - the L word was only ever used in conjunction with G, B & T (and sometimes Q and/or I)
G is not as well-funded as T, but there were still a number of grants for the exclusive benefit of gay men.
Gay Men's Health Collective - £10k - for gay & bi men
BlackOut UK - £9.4k for black gay, bisexual and transgender men
Gay Mens Wellbeing Project - £45.4k
