Which still lets him displace disgust and blame onto people criticising him for being a punter

Yep. Projected disgust and shame.

FermatsTheorem · 22/02/2019 09:46

High fives Lady_Marmalade!

Though when I've made similar suggestions to punters who've popped up on threads here to defend what nice guys they are, they've said "but... but... but... I'm straight." To which my reply is "fhaving to force yourself to have sex with a person you don't want to have sex with out of financial desperation is horrific, regardless of your sexuality."

Though this "but I'm a nice guy" attitude never goes away. MrsBert points out what should be blindingly obvious to anyone with an ounce of empathy; the answer is to give them the money. But they don't see it that way (I suspect because they are sociopaths of some kind). We had a "nice guy" punter on here a few years back who described how nice he was by saying he had a student on her first job as a prostitute, who burst into tears and said she didn't want to go through with it. Now, did our self-professed nice guy do the obvious thing, which would be call a taxi, and while you waited for it to show up, google the number of student welfare services, then give her the money to cover the taxi fare and tide her over till she got to student welfare? Did he hell. He let her stroke his pet labrador till she calmed down, then fucked her anyway. In his head, this made him a good guy. He seemed quite taken aback to discover that in our eyes, his actions in fact cemented his status as scum of the earth.

HIS GRAN PAYS FOR HIS UNIVERSITY BOOKS WHILE HE'S PROUD OF PAYING FOR SEX

That's it. Stepping away from the internet

termats
What an awful story, what a vile evil man.

Datun · 22/02/2019 09:55

Men's sense of entitlement really is unutterably shocking.

And their relationship with their own cock. They simply can't conceive that they are the only person in the entire universe who worships it.

RockyFlintstone · 22/02/2019 09:59

Do this bloke think he is helping women by paying them to put his dick in them? He is just so vile.

Bowlofbabelfish · 22/02/2019 10:01

I wonder what his gran thinks about her subsidising his habits?

FermatsTheorem · 22/02/2019 10:01

Katvon - he lets his gran pay for his textbooks while he spends his money on coercing women into letting him fuck them? Shit! Shock And he thinks this makes him a feminist? Sponging off one woman financially while exploiting other women horrifically.

Whatisthisfuckery · 22/02/2019 10:02

I’m always staggered by how these men think it’s just normal, and nothing special really that women should have their dicks’ shoved in them, but when it’s suggested that they should have one or two up their arse, just to prove how normal and nothing special it is, then it’s ‘oh my god, what? don’t be preposterous.’

I don’t think some, (a lot) of men seem to believe that women experience their bodys’ and their feelings’ in the same way they do. Women aren’t actually human in their minds, and we only come to life with glee when they bestow attention and money on us, but then we already know that don’t we.

The other thing I don't understand is the contradiction there seems to be with these people. On the one hand it's all 'oh these women are so marginalised, they are in poverty and you want to take away the only source of income they have, you want to deny them employment' and then on the other hands it's 'these women are making a choice about their bodies who are you to take that choice away'. Which is it?

There was a program on last week (I think it was The Big Questions) and there was someone on there saying that sex workers are not charity cases. There seems to be this idea that if you are paying for sex, you are helping these women out of poverty and 'empowering' them or something.

NeurotrashWarrior · 22/02/2019 10:09

Mate, stop sponging off your gran and go and get some real work to pay your own way, let me see, maybe sex work if it's such a fabulous flexible career?

I keep reading this guys tweets, I can't get my head around it at all. And this is woke and progressive???

NeurotrashWarrior · 22/02/2019 10:13

Whatisthisfuckery, well quite. Some sex workers are lesbians.

Well, that's what he tells himself and others, but really it's because he hates women and wants to harm them.

ImFineThankYouSusan · 22/02/2019 10:32

Oh I read his tweet a few hours ago.

I was all "Fuck off, mate" and tossed him onto the 'creepy male feminist 🙄' pile (it's grown a lot over the last few years).

BorneBackCeaselesslyIntoThePas · 22/02/2019 10:55

Somehow this seems appropriate

“reaffirmed his view that the Scriptures define woman as merely a temporary companion and instrument of Man. Women, he states, are nowhere defined as human, ”

this

if sex work is so super empowering, Thom can have some anal sex / give some blow jobs to some lovely punters who just want to empower sex workers. Then his Gran gets to spend her hard earned on herself, not on Thom the man child who likes to contribute to the abuse of trafficked women through bigging up prostitution.

and Thom gets to be SUPER EMPOWERED!

win win

just a thought

Threewheeler1 · 22/02/2019 11:12

I'm clawing at my own face here Angry
He can't be real??!!!
God help our female children if he's representative of what is out there.
Fucking woke idiot.

NeurotrashWarrior · 22/02/2019 11:51

He can unionise it at the same time. Become well woke famous. But unionisation never goes down well unless those seeking to sort it out have had experience of the profession.

So, bro, stop mansplaining about it and do it.

Hmm

I seriously would like to be a fly on the wall of the poor person who has to mark his essays.

I wonder if he had a beard?

BlackForestCake · 22/02/2019 18:15

If you cared about empowering the sex workers, shouldn't one of them be the person writing the article?

Manderleyagain · 12/03/2019 14:04

Just saw something on twitter about this bloke- the one who wanted to write about how visiting prostitutes helped his feminism

  • Janice Turner tweeting to him:
'Dude, someone sent me a link to your Instagram. You have a girlfriend. Either you’re deceiving her or this punter thing is your wank fantasy. Whatever it is, grow up and keep your penis-centred “feminism” in your pants.' He's even less of a good catch than we thought. He's protected his account for the time being. twitter.com/VictoriaPeckham/status/1105146869934669825
