School says it followed procedure, but I simply can not understand why he wasn't excluded.

Fairy no _

This boy has been convicted

NothingOnTellyAgain · 20/02/2019 21:31

On sex offenders register

What are they doing to protect all the girls.

[I was] told in court I was a liar,
Its 2019. Why is this kind of 'questioning' still allowed in court?

feministfairy · 20/02/2019 21:45

I realise that Nothing. I was just pointing out that we used to be able to move those accused of sexual assaults before a trial, let alone afterwards (but expressed it badly). It is unforgivable that a school reckons it's OK for a girl to have to repeatedly confront her abuser on a daily basis. Well done to her for speaking out.

Unless you ban the prosecution from speaking about the accused as a rapist or a sexual predator, then I don't see how we can stop people from claiming the other party is a lying as a defence.

Agree with PP there is unfortunately an unwillingness IMO to exclude children from schools these days.

Thanks for the link @ErrolTheDragon. It is incomprehensible to me that this happens. The unwillingness for schools to escalate incidents of sexual abuse is reprehensible and is cultivating a rape culture that will ruin our girls' and our boys' lives.
