7 Day Twitter Ban

Hi, my first post here from this account (I'm a sad lurker!).

I have just received a 7 day Twitter ban for picking Neale Gibson up on his blatant misogyny evident in his support of the 'Trans kids burn TERFs' posters. He then went on to call anyone who disagrees with the TRAs' stance 'bastards'. Threaten women with burning, call them bastards-all perfectly acceptable on that platform, try to call out misogyny, not so much.
I tried to send a screen shot in DM (on Twitter) but I repeatedly get a message saying something like 'cannot send blank message'.
It seems highly unfair that a Sheffield City Councillor can refer to women standing up for their rights as bastards and support calls for them to burn, yet any of us defending our rights are accused of hateful conduct.
Thanks for reading.

Yes it's ridiculous but Twitter unfortunately is a very misogynistic platform.

Hopefully it will go the way of myspace before too long.

It's going to be interesting to see how the lawsuits in the Covington saga play out. If blue checked journalists and people of note realise that a space like Twitter has the potential to damage careers I think they will start leaving in droves. Access to high profile people is one of main things that keeps Twitter relevant.

It's frustrating, Ova, it is impossible to make any headway on these issues when the people in charge of the censor button are as biased as...
I hope you're right, it will either fall or become an echo chamber of misogynists and their handmaidens.

Thank you for your reply.
