Has WoLF learnt from UK and Canadian feminists that it is possible to organise autonomously?!

Saw this on facebook and thought that's a real turn around.

Seems that having UK and Canadian feminists fly into Washingtom and organise their own meeting has inspired WoLF to do the same.

ie they are (or seem to be) organising their own meeting along the lines of gender critical meetings here, witholding the venue information till the date itself.

What does wolf stand for?

The work of WoLF volunteers was instrumental to bringing Venice Allan and Posie Parker to Washington DC, so I'm not sure what's up with the rather patronizing title of this thread.

Women's Liberation Front has also been autonomously producing an annual series of women-only gatherings called WoLF Fest since 2016 and will be holding their fourth WoLF Fest this July.

I didn't mean to be obscure. I just thought given the number of threads there have been about should gender critical women work with / attend meetings organised or funded by right wing christian groups that everyone now knows who WoLF is.

The meeting happened on the same day as the We Need to Talk Meeting in Washington (as part of Stand Up Women?).

The Heritage Foundation Talk was the day after the WNTT meeting in DC. The women from WoLF helped organise the WNTT meeting. They had 2 people on the panel at the HF meeting but they didn't organise it. It's confusing, I know!

I'm not sure what's up with the rather patronizing title of this thread. Seconded.

Sheila Jeffreys and three of the young detransitioned women from Pique Resilience will speak. I confess I am worried for them. The TAs have created such a poisonous and threatening atmosphere. Hope the security arrangements are excellent.
